MEIDIKE GENE Cell Preservation Solution MCPS-THPV is a specially formulated liquid medium composed of purified water, Tris, hydrochloric acid, sodium chloride, disodium EDTA, ethanol, and glacial acetic acid. It is designed for the preservation and transport of exfoliated cervical cells used in HPV testing or TCT (ThinPrep Cytologic Test) liquid-based cytology.
This solution effectively stabilizes cellular morphology by fixing cells, preventing aggregation, and maintaining optimal pH and ionic strength. It also helps in dispersing mucus, removing red blood cells, and preserving cell integrity at room temperature without the need for refrigeration.
