MEDICO’s Oropharyngeal Swab is used for cell & virus specimen collection, it has been designed for DNA & Gene detection, and also oropharyngeal clinical diagnostics.

The swab consists of a flexible shaft with a small, soft, and absorbent tip made of nylon fibers that are flocked together. The nylon fibers help to increase the surface area of the swab, allowing for better sample collection. The swab is inserted through the oral cavity and gently rotated to collect a sample. The swab is then placed in a sterile tube for transport to a laboratory for testing.
